OTT is excited to announce these winners for the POP Awards Most Popular Sustainability Courses 2024.

 

  • Winner: The Lufthansa Group

    The Lufthansa Group has contributed to the progress of the aviation industry. Now they want to lead it into a sustainable future. To achieve their ambitious goal of becoming carbon-neutral by 2050 and cutting their net carbon emissions in half by 2030 compared to 2019, the Lufthansa Group is continuously implementing a wide range of innovative measures. The Lufthansa Group will put around 200 brand new, more sustainable aircraft into service by 2030. These reduce fuel consumption and thus CO2-emissions by up to 30 percent compared to their predecessors – on every flight.

  • Runner Up: All Nippon Airways

    The ANA Group is promoting ESG management that considers the Environment, Society and Governance, with the aim of realizing a sustainable society and enhancing corporate value. Under the slogan of "ANA Future Promise", they aim to achieve the SDGs by developing initiatives with a sense of unity among ANA Group employees while gaining the understanding and cooperation of customers. Their 2050 financial year targets include Net zero CO2 emissions generated by aircraft operations, zero resource waste and 50% reduction of food waste compared to 2019.
