City Cruises began life as a family-owned business operating sightseeing cruises on the River Thames. In 2014 and 2016, Blue Line Cruises in Dorset and York Boat joined the fleet, and the company became a family of three – City Cruises London, City Cruises Poole and City Cruises York.
At the end of 2019, just before the global pandemic hit, City Cruises was acquired by the US cruise operator, Hornblower Cruises & Events. And today, City Cruises is proud to be part of a global brand of companies, including Walks, Devour, Venture Ashore and Journey Beyond.
