The Unique Vatnajökull:

We are pleased to welcome Vatnajökull to our fleet, our brand new special livery aircraft inspired by the largest glacier in Europe. No need to worry - the service on board will be as warm as always.

The new Vatnajökull plane also features wonderful touches of glacier magic within its interiors to replicate the experience of the Vatnajökull glacier itself. Ambient moving LED blue lighting will be installed in the main cabin; the headrests will be adorned with a beautiful ice white and brilliant turquoise design. Even the drinks trolley will be transformed into a mini ice-cave, while cups, napkins, and even sick bags will be decorated with glacier prints!

New Icelandair Saga Lounge opens at Keflavik International Airport:

Today a new and stylish Icelandair Saga Lounge was opened for business at a new location on the top floor of Keflavik International Airport. Its 1400 square meters will bring together beautiful Nordic design inspired by Icelandic nature and culture, delicious food, a relaxing atmosphere, and stunning views of the runways and all the way to Snæfellsjökull glacier a 100 kilometers away.
