Getting to Denmark from UK

Copenhagen (CPH) to London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Stansted, Manchester, Liverpool, and Edinburgh.

Billund (BLL) to London Stansted, Manchester and Edinburgh. From March 2022: British Airways will fly directly from Heathrow to Billund.

Aarhus (AAR) London Stansted.

While Copenhagen is the busiest airport in Denmark, airports in Aarhus, Billund, Aalborg, and Esbjerg make it easy to quickly travel around the country.

Getting to Denmark from the US

Denmark is known as the gateway to Scandinavia. There are direct flights from the US to Copenhagen from

11 major American airports: EWR (New York City), BOS (Boston; seasonal), IAD (Washington, D.C.), ORD (Chicago), LAX (Los Angeles) and SFO (San Francisco). 

While Copenhagen is the busiest airport in Denmark, airports in Aarhus, Billund, Aalborg, and Esbjerg make it easy to quickly travel around the country.

You can fly to one of Denmark's 5 major airports from many other cities across the US with only one layover, such as Cleveland, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, Seattle, and Anchorage, to name a few! Check the major codesharing agreements with your preferred airline to find the best route for you. 

Copenhagen is also easy to reach via e.g. Amsterdam, London, Stockholm, Oslo, Hamburg, Berlin and Helsinki.
