Resumption of Air Transat operations

Air Transat are pleased to announce the resumption of their flights and tour operator activities as of July 23, 2020, provided that the travel restrictions applicable on that date allow it. They are offering a new flight schedule to more than 20 destinations in Europe, the South, the United States and Canada until the end of the summer season on October 31, 2020. They are also offering South and Europe packages during this period.

Depending on demand and the easing of regulatory restrictions, Air Transat may modify its flight schedule for the months of September and October.
If you have a reservation for a trip scheduled during the summer season and would like to review your options, please consult our FAQs.

Worry-free Booking

Transat wants to reassure you and let you book your next vacation with complete peace of mind, knowing that you will be able to change your travel dates, hotel or destination—or all three —at no charge. We have also relaxed our cancellation policy.

This is our Book with peace of mind offer, applicable to all new bookings of flights and South packages made by June 30, 2020.

Looking for even more peace of mind? For a small fee, add Option Flex to your purchase of a South or Europe package and enjoy our ultimate level of flexibility at any time.

Traveller Care

Transat's health and safety program

We know that the pandemic has raised concerns about travelling. That’s why we created Transat’s Traveller Care, a program featuring enhanced health and safety measures at check-in, during boarding, on board and at destination—as recommended by regulatory authorities such as the International Civil Aviation Organization—so that you can travel with peace of mind.

You deserve a vacation, especially now, to escape from it all or to reconnect with friends and family living abroad.

For more details on the measures featured in Transat’s Traveller Care programme, travellers can consult the website

The flight schedule for the 2020 summer season and other flight details can be found on the website.
