OTT focuses on sustainable future for 2020

It’s been a busy but satisfying year for OTT.

2019 has been a year of smashing records, with 103 courses launched.

And, in a world where people are bombarded with messages on TV, radio, advertising and social media, we’ve also achieved other records that we are hugely proud of. With attention spans interrupted by all manner of distractions, OTT has achieved a worldwide total of 5.68 million minutes (average- 14mins 4 sec online), UK & Ireland: 2.94 million minutes, USA & Canada: 0.63 million minutes, India: 0.52 million minutes, Australia: 0.16 million minutes and Germany: 0.14 million minutes

The average time online for agents within the UK was 19mins 51 secs.

Partygoers take to the skies

To celebrate our year of flying high, we held a party, supported by Malaysia Airlines, for partners, agents and representatives from the travel trade.

As its been 50 years since man landed on the moon and 50 years since Concorde took to the skies, and with so many airlines celebrating milestones this year, we invited guests to reach for the skies and take to our specially built runway at the h Club in Covent Garden. Partygoers came as astronauts, pilot, flight attendant, runway operations, aircraft engineers, aliens and passengers. We even had the world at our party, watch our party at

2020: ready for takeoff

For the new decade, we will be focusing on improving the education delivery on our platform with new company pages. Airlines, destinations and suppliers will be able to add to their course offering with pages which can act as a real hub for information on your company – partners can add their blogs, news, events and images all in one place to boost the information available to agents.

We’ve also signed up to a more sustainable future by signing up for B1G1, business for good. The organisation gives to more than 500 plus carefully selected projects across the world, all of which are in line with the Sustainable Development Goals set by global leaders.

We will be incentivising agents to complete courses as well as client sign ups through charitable giving. For instance we will pledge to fund one tree planted for every course completion or sponsor a pop up school to be erected in an earthquake zone for every project renewal on OTT.

And finally, we will also be bringing you more OTT educational events to help your travel brand grow. We are very excited to working with marketing experts such as entrepreneur and author Linzi Boyd, founder of brand builders BoB Group, who will be running marketing workshops for the travel trade.
