Get into the magic this festive season with Harry Potter

Fans of the Harry Potter films are invited to get into the festive spirit as Warner Bros. Studio Tour London’s annual ‘Hogwarts in the Snow’ feature returns.

From now through to 15th January 2023, the Studio Tour will feature more filmmaking snow than ever before, and see the return of the Yule Ball decorations from ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’.
The Great Hall will be transformed into a shimmering silver and snow-filled wonderland, and it will be lined with Christmas trees, among other festive decoration.

New for 2022, the Hogwarts Castle fountain will be given a wintery makeover to match the cobbled stones and magical shop fronts of Diagon Alley, Hagrid’s Hut and the Hogwarts Castle model.

Iconic sets get a festive makeover

Many more of the iconic sets housed at the Studio Tour which brought JK Rowling’s stories to life so memorably on screen will also receive a festive makeover. The Gryffindor common room and boys’ dormitory will be decorated with the original props including handmade Christmas cards, some of which were created by the cast members during production.

Also returning this year are the ever-popular Dinner in the Great Hall events. Each evening between the 13th and 15th of December, guests will be greeted on arrival with welcome drinks and canapés before stepping into the decorated Great Hall. After taking their seats at round tables, they will enjoy the first two courses of a delicious Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, surrounded by the Yule Ball decorations.

After dinner, visitors will be able to explore the snow-bedecked Studio Tour in its entirety. A selection of festive dessert bowls will then be served on Platform 9 ¾ right next to the original Hogwarts Express locomotive.
