Captured on camera at WTM

OTT will be capturing all the colour and action from stands at World Travel Market (WTM) by creating engaging event videos on behalf of our partners.
WTM takes place at ExCeL London from November 4-6. This year marks the 40th edition of the global meeting place for the travel trade.
While face-to-face meetings create plenty of business opportunities, OTT will be helping our travel trade partners bring their news and product announcements to the mobiles, tablets and desktops of travel agents and travel professionals 24 hours a day, 365 days a year using event video.
Among our filming highlights will be Aegean Airlines, who will be capturing their 20th anniversary celebrations on video; announcements by the The Minister of Egypt and Ethiopian Airlines; Tarom Airlines 65th anniversary and OTT course launches for Dubai Parks and Resorts and St Helena. Air Transat will be announcing their new A321.
Video to form 82 per cent of internet traffic by 2020
OTT helps our partners create event videos which enable them to widen the reach of their exhibition activities beyond the venue itself. Video clips create dynamic content that is easily shareable online – use it on your brand’s website, email communications or social media.
OTT Founder Julia Feuell explained why video is fast becoming a ‘must have’ for clients, increasing the return on investment from their exhibition activities. “Research from Cisco has shown that 82 per cent of internet traffic will be via video by 2022,” said Julia.
“It’s not hard to see why the use of video in communications is becoming more widespread. Video helps potential customers see all of your news, product launches and announcements in real time.”
“Using event video also enables you to remind people you have already met about your brand’s message and reach those who were unable to attend your stand – wherever they are in the world. Event video is an engaging way to share your news with the entire industry with just a single click.”
Enhance marketing activities for the year ahead
Julia explained that event video enabled destinations and suppliers could also create content with a longer ‘shelf life’ than filming a single announcement or product launch. She said: “With the world’s travel trade in one place, exhibitions are a great place to announce your news. Our partners will also be creating videos which will enhance their marketing activities for the year ahead. Many companies have a number of key staff on site at events, this makes it easy to interview each one of them for their market insights or to film product demonstrations, all in one place.”
“With a series of videos produced in this way, event video can add year-round value to your marketing activities. Evergreen - or less time specific - videos filmed at a single show can be rolled out into your marketing campaigns or activities or added into your content plans, creating interest throughout the year ahead.”
Here are OTT founder Julia Feuell’s top 5 ways and suggestions for making the most of event video:
1) Testimonials
Who better to tell your story than a satisfied customer?
2) Product demonstrations
Show your audience how something works or what they can expect with a product demonstration or showround
3) Short clips
Get straight to the point - viewers prefer videos than are just 60 seconds long
4) Show your thought leadership
Share your insights and knowledge by interviewing key company executives on market trends and considerations
5) Event showreels
Show and tell - make the most of your exhibition activities by creating a stand out piece of video content which has real staying power. Capture the excitement of your news, product launch or stand with a showreel video.
