Aegean welcomes passengers to new Business Lounge at Athens International Airport

Aegean’s new Business Lounge, located in the extra Schengen area of Athens International Airport has welcomed its first guests, aiming to enhance travel experience with its unique aesthetics and functionality.
The new 1,250 sq m lounge promises to offer an unparalleled experience of travel and hospitality, incorporating the airline’s new brand identity and inspired by traditional Greek architecture. As well as providing functionality, comfort and hospitality, the lounge also provides the latest technology and upgraded services, using the airline’s new fleet as a starting point.
The natural light and airside view are combined with high quality materials including marble, terrazzo, glass and wood create a modern and comfortable surroundings. The Business Lounge offers multiple choices to meet the needs of every passenger including a media lounge for networking, social lounge to stay connected, quiet lounge for extra relaxation, meeting rooms for work, recliners for aviation enthusiasts, two cafeterias as well as the restaurant alongside the wine bar.
The Business Lounge is also a platform to promote Greek identity and all hot and cold dishes as well as wines offered are mainly sourced from the country’s finest producers. The Lounge was designed by the globally renowned architect team of K-Studio, accelerating the already successful established partnership that began during previous year with the design and launch of the new Aegean Lounge in Thessaloniki.
Aegean’s new Business Lounge will be open to all Business Class and Miles+Bonus Gold passengers, as well as to members of Star Alliance network.
