Air transport services are, nowadays, the most common services in the development of a governmental and institutional trip due, above all, to the security, speed, flexibility and comfort that these services imply. Therefore, the arrival, transit and departure of a Delegation in airport areas - public, military or private - are key elements that heads of such travels have to manage.

Course format

This module course is available in e-learning format from the virtual campus of the GITT Institute.

This course requires approximately 20 to 40 hours of study to be completed in 3 months from the purchase date (enrolment validity). After the enrolment validity expires, the users will not have access to the course content and will not be able to take the exam.

What you will learn

This course will allow the student to identify the most common requirements during the transit of a Delegation through the airport facilities. In addition, through this course the student will learn about the necessary operational management in an airport, the needs in terms of authorisation, the fundamental aspects for the transit and handling of luggage and weapons, as well as the use of authority rooms, among others.
