MS Roald Amundsen

• MS Roald Amundsen was the first of two state-of-the-art vessels featuring new and environmentally sustainable hybrid technology that reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 20%
• Scandinavian materials from nature such as granite, oak, birch and wool have been used to create relaxed and stylish cabins and public areas. 
• All cabins are outside, 50% have private balconies and aft suites feature private outdoor hot tubs with spectacular views 
• The Science Center is the core of the onboard experience, packed with state-of-the-art technology and high tech gadgets to help enhance the guest experience and teach them about the destinations they visit
• Onboard there are 3 restaurants to choose from, a Wellness Center, Fitness Center, Outdoor Gym, Hot Tubs, an Infinity Pool and a Panoramic Sauna

• Featuring Hurtigruten's revolutionary battery hybrid powered propulsion system, MS Fridtjof Nansen is a near-identical twin to her sister ship, MS Roald Amundsen

• After complete reconstruction, MS Spitsbergen joined our fleet in 2016 and features high technical standards
• Fresh Scandinavian design reflects a colour palette derived from the sea. She is modern and environmentally progressive and we plan further improvements to reduce emissions and fuel consumption even more
• The new ship’s maneuverability and optimal size make her quite suitable for exploring polar waters
