ANA AT A GLANCE
‘Best Business Airline’
ANA was awarded "Best Business Airline of the Year" and "Best Corporate Responsibility Programme" by Buying Business Travel magazine at the Business Travel Awards 2018. The annual awards recognize and celebrate the achievements of the travel industry’s leading businesses that have performed outstandingly over the last 12 months.
The award for Best Business Airline honours the airline that has delivered consistent and inspired service to their customers, and is testament to the consistently high level of service provided by ANA.
The judges commented, “ANA offered a five-star service for the corporate traveller, backed by strong growth and new routes, and a truly impressive CSR programme.”
Skytrax: 5-Star Airline
ANA is one of only eleven elite airlines that has been awarded a 5-star rating by the world’s leading airline consulting and rating company, Skytrax. ANA has received this rating for six years running.
Launch Customer of the Dreamliner
In 2015, ANA finalised orders for new aircraft, including three Boeing B787-10 Dreamliners and three Airbus A380s. Expanding its long-haul fleet further, ANA added a further four B787-9s to its fleet in 2015 and introduced the aircraft on international services in April 2015. ANA has also agreed to purchase seven A320neos, 26 A321neos, four A321ceos and five Boeing 737-800 narrow-body jets to modernise its short-haul fleet.
This makes ANA the first airline in the world to operate the B787-8, B787-9 and B787-10 models and the biggest operator of the Boeing 787.
European Joint Venture with Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines and Austrian Airlines
ANA’s European Joint Venture with Lufthansa, joined by Swiss International Air Lines and Austrian Airlines in 2013, offers seamless transfers and better connections between Europe and Japan.
