Market Director


​Colin Stewart

Joined Air Europa as UK General Manager in February 2009 from EOS airlines where he held the position of European Director of Marketing.

Having held senior positions at BAA London Stansted and Heathrow, Colin's extensive knowledge of domestic and international aviation marketing campaigns provides Air Europa with a sound basis for the airline's goals of global expansion.

Since his appointment at Air Europa, coinciding with the launch of Air Europa's twice daily flight from London Gatwick to Madrid, Colin has set about growing the UK office from the ground-up, recruiting new commercial, reservation and back office teams to support the increase in flight sales throughout the UK, Spain, Latin America and the Caribbean.


Head of Sales


Sarah Hurst 

Brings a wealth of knowledge to Air Europa with over 21 years' experience in the travel sector at companies including American Express, EOS Airlines, Continental Airlines, Speedwing, British Midland Airways and El Al Israeli Airlines in a variety of top level sales, management and commercial support roles.

Sarah joined Air Europa from The Crown Group where she held the position of Group Sales Manager, delivering impressive sales targets for the group through developing new relationships within the corporate market. In her role as Head of sales, Sarah is responsible for working with the UK's large travel corporations, online travel companies and tour operators to increase sales and brand awareness.

Senior Sales Manager



Max Campos 

Joins Air Europa from Aerolineas Argentinas, where he was Head of Sales and Marketing for the UK and Ireland. With over 11 years' experience within the Latin American market, Campos will be responsible for some of Air Europa's key clients as well as driving new business opportunities for the airline.

Campos has over 16 years' experience in the travel and tourism industry and prior to Aerolineas Argentinas was a hotel manager for Thistle in London and provided customer support at Newco Airport Services in Madrid.

Apart from his native Spanish, Campos is also fluent in English and enjoys playing tennis in his spare time.


Reservations Supervisor

David Cernuto 

Has over 20 year's experience working in the tourism industry in Argentina, Mexico and UK; has worked with Galileo, Sabre, Worldspan and Amadeus;he is also fluent in Spanish, English and basic Italian.

Working as a key member of the team, David has helped to develop Air Europa’s first UK based office. He has been involved in all areas from Marketing to Commercial support, and worked closely with the General Manager. 

Over the years, David's experience in the aviation field has allowed him to aqcuire all sorts of valuable skills: he is an experienced user of Galileo, Sabre, Worldspan and Amadeus.

In his role as Reservations Supervisor, David is on hand to provide customers and agent support, making the best possible arrangements for a clients destination, mode of transport and travel dates. He also accepts payment for ticket purchases and processes group requests.

Reservations & Agent Support

Silvana De Urrusuno

Brings over 10 years' experience in the tourism industry to the team at Air Europa. She has a degree in Tourism graduate of University of Morón in Argentina, Silvana is a trained air steward and has worked in customer service for and Southern Winds Airlines and Costa Cruises.

Silvana has a wealth of experience as a travel consultant, working for various travel agencies including Steamond Travel Agency. At Air Europa Silvana takes on the role of Reservations Agent, providing frontline service to the airline's customers in the UK.

As well as her native Spanish and excellent English, Silvana also speaks basic Italian and Portuguese.


Group Reservations Agent


Andrea Capuozzo

She is an experienced travel and traffic agent with over 9 years’ experience in the aviaton field.

She has worked at Air Europa and Avianca before, which allowed her to acquire valuable skills over the years. She also worked in a travel agency in Venezuela, which  helped broadening her knowledge in GDS Amadeus. Her excellent customer service skills and her ability to cooperate and work well in a team make her a very valuable asset to the company. 

At Air Europa, Andrea takes on the role of Group Reservations Agent: she is responsible for facilitating the group booking procedure and overseeing the communications between trade partners' requests with head office’s responses. 

As well as her native Spanish, Andrea is fluent in spoken and written English.


Administration &
Finance Manager

Arturo Gil 

Has over 15 years' experience working in the tourism industry. He joined the London team from Air Europa's parent company Globalia, Spain's leading tourist group, where he provided tax support to a range of clients including Viajes Halcon and Pepephone.

Arturo is a graduate from Universidad Illes Balears with both a diploma in Business Sciences and a Masters degree in Public Finance, Tax Systems and Procedures. He is a talented linguist and in addition to his native Spanish and Catalan, he also speaks English, German, Italian and French.

In his role as Administration and Finance Co-ordinator, Arturo is responsible for processing Air Europa's legal and fiscal duties including managing the annual budget, staff payrolls and VAT bills.

Station Manager

Alexandra Sánchez

Joined Air Europa from her position as Operations Coordinator at Air Partner PLC, where she provided logistical support to clients including ATC slot management, ground handling and liaised with high profile passengers.

Alexandra graduated from London South Bank University with a BA in International Tourism and Hospitality Management. As well as her native Spanish, Alexandra also speaks fluent English and brings over 14 years' experience in the aviation industry.

In her role as Sales Manager at Air Europa, Alexandra was responsible for working with the UK's top travel corporations, online travel companies and tour operators to increase sales and brand awareness, was recently promoted to Station Manager.
