Exit Checks

The British Government have introduced Exit Checks at all ports and airports from April 2015.  These checks will entail gathering information on the identity of every person leaving the country, at their point of departure.

To help speed up the journey through our Folkestone terminal, please may we ask that you inform all your coach drivers of the following:

Advise your passengers travelling from Folkestone to Calais to have their passports or ID cards ready and open at the personal information page before leaving the coach.
Advise all coach passengers exactly what time to return to their vehicle once the exit checks are complete.
Do not leave the Passenger Terminal Building until all passengers are aboard the coach.
After Check-in, all coaches will be directed to drop their customers outside the Victor Hugo Terminal, where customers will be guided to a dedicated area where Eurotunnel staff will be ready to carry out the Exit Checks.
